"Les Miserables" 2015

I built corsets for six ladies of the evening in "Les Miserables." I worked with modern commercial patterns and the materials were chosen by the designer. I had the freedom to select the pattern for each piece as well as embellish each corset as I saw fit. I built the Spencer jacket for Cosette from a vintage pattern.

"Moon Over Buffalo" 2015

This blue, drop waist dress for Rosiland in "Moon Over Buffalo" was my first attempt at draping a garment from a rendering. This costume consisted of a coordinated slip as well as the dress.

"Into the Woods" 2016

As assistant designer, I was charged with draping, patterning and stitching the ensembles for the stepmother and two stepsisters. Each character needed three looks during the course of the play. The unifying piece for each was the corset which was worn throughout the performance. In the first act, These characters first appeared in lounge wear as they prepared for the ball. The stepsisters wore lace tap pants and a short robe while the stepmother wore lace bloomers with a feather trimmed dressing gown. A full skirt was added to the corset for the ball. In the second act, the corset was paired with a skirt and jacket to form a suit.

"A Midsummer Night's Dream" 2017

These accent costume pieces were designed and built for the Rustics in "A Midsummer's Night Dream." Puck's vest was built from a simple boxy cut boiled wool vest while the other items were made from materials gathered from old natural fiber clothing that was felted or modified to make the Rustics appear to be clothed in found and salvaged materials.
The Old Maid and the Thief 2019

Most of the costuming for this production came from stock which I altered to fit or embellished to
suit the character and situation. I did build a period style maid's apron and a kimono to provide an upscale and period look for these two characters.
