Master Harold and the Boys

"Master Harold and the Boys" is a chilling tale of the effects of apartheid.  Sam and Willie, are dressed in pristine white waiter's jackets, white dress shirts, bowties and black trousers as their jobs in a South African tea room in the 1950s dictate.  Their clothing also reflects their gentlemanly demeanor.  They are anything but "boys."  Master Harold is a prep-school teenager who wields his authority over the two men because his mother owns the tea room and because he takes full advantage of his white privilege.  Hally sports gray trousers, white shirt, striped school tie and a navy wool blazer with the school crest. His clothing is a testament to his assumed superiority.
