Crafts & Props

This rather random assortment of items demonstrates several of the skills I find interesting and useful as a designer & artisan.
I designed and built:
-toast & ham slice from craft foam & acrylic paint (I did NOT build the eggs) "Old Maid and the Thief"
-gold cartouche carved from closed cell styrofoam & model paint.
-Glengarry Bonnet & fascinator on buckram bases decorated with ribbon trimmings
-machine embroidered gold detail for Mrs. Potts sleeve "Beauty and the Beast," 275 Brass ensemble music stand cover & school crest "Master Harold"
-felted headband & leather gauntlet "A Midsummer Night's Dream"
-pigskin Scotty dog doorstop
-abacus & flail from found or transformed objects
-logo design for Children's Hospital
-punchbowl carrier -because I needed one
These samples are intended to illustrate problem solving ability, facility with multiple materials and techniques, and ability to transform available items into stage ready pieces.
